Success for Biggest Blood Pressure Check

More than 25% of Australians checked were referred to their GPs for health advice following Australia’s Biggest Blood Pressure Check on 2 April.

The event was the first of its kind in Australia and set an Australian benchmark for the number of people to have their blood pressure checked in one day, with 10,271 attending dedicated sites in capital cities.

The majority of blood pressure checks were carried out at Chemmart pharmacies nationally, with 6,077 checks taking place in store.
